It helps your team stay consistent and speak the same language around food and fluids.

Feel more confident supporting people with swallowing difficulties.
Great for carers, nurses, and support workers who want to build practical skills they can actually use at work.

Vanessa Chan

Vanessa Chan is a Speech Pathologist and the Chair of the Australian IDDSI Reference Group. She works across aged care, disability, and community settings, supporting individuals with swallowing difficulties and helping teams improve mealtime safety.
Through her work, Vanessa has seen the challenges staff face in applying speech pathologists' recommendations consistently in real-life settings. This course was created to bridge that gap, turning clinical knowledge into practical, easy-to-follow steps that staff can use every day.
